I already warned you, be prepared for a long and picture-heavy entry!

On sunday Y. & me went to Frankfurt,primarily to go to the Lord of the Lost concert (about which I'm writing next time) but we decided to extend our stay there and go shopping the day after. If you have ever been to Frankfurt you might know what I mean by saying it's a "grey" city - the source of the kinda ridiculous title.

Subway Wrap - Veggie Delight (vegan)

M. told us some day sago that the wraps at subways were much better than the sandwiches and we decided to give a try before we left. They're okay I think, but nothing special - but neither are their sandwichs.

On our way to the hotel we talked about dodging the fare and I said something like: "I'm never buying a ticket and I never got caught" in a kinda loud voice accidentally. Suddenly a man next to us stood up, showing us an ID-card and asked for our tickets. THANK GOD we bought them at the main station, haha! The guy seemed to be really pissed and checked my ticket twice but oh well it was okay! Still laughing about it.

Good Morning Lovelies (๑• . •๑)

So ~ all the presents are unwrapped, the christmas tree lost the mysterious glow and we all gained not so happy 5kg ~ seems like Christmas is officially gone! I hope all of you survived well and looking forward to next holiday: New Year's Eve!
(I for one hate New Year's Eve like nothing else, so I'll skip the happy-part about it)
I hope, you all received beautiful presents! I for one really did and I'm so glad, that so many people thought about me ♥ But I'm not a fan of this 'showing presents around', so I'll just present you one :) I got this plushie from a special person and look how great he'd choosed it without even knowing my cat! ♥

I used the few days between Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve to see some old friends I haven't met in a long time. 
Sure you all know this problem; everyone's moving out, living somewhere else and rarely coming home. It's difficult to gather at a certain date but we kinda manage it every 6  months or so :)

One day I went out for dinner and to the cinema afterwards.

Shorts: H&M // Shirt: NewYorker // Hat, Cardigan & Overknees (that you can't see): C&A

As it's not that cold in Germany, it's super easy to wear shorts with overknees & long cardigans and I love it! With a cosy hat and winter boots it also looks really wintery and you're not freezing. Definately big plus for the warm weather! Fall for this kind of outfits ♥

Penne Primavera (comes actually with mozarella but I asked for a portion without) - vegan

We wanted to watch "Pitch Perfect" but as they changed the cinema programm last-minute, we missed it. Instead we went to a friend and kept talking, drinking and snacking.  

I need something like a haircut again. lol

☆nails / order / drinking games☆

Today  a kinda random post, but I didn't want to make an extra post for every issue (^_^)
First of all: nails!
As I promised pictures of my current nails:

Yes, one of them was already messed up as I took the picture, but I redid it in the meantime. So far I'm quite satisfied with them.

Second one is my VeganWonderland order, that arrived yesterday (^_^) Well, I had to go and fetch the package at the shop because this $§%§-driver didn't ring the bell (=.=) Yeah, that's just what you're f'cking paied for, idiot! 

Although I don't order that often at this shop, I didn't order something really fancy this time. It was more a kind of 'urgent order' as I needed this haircolor. lol

*2x cream cheese ( I would probably die for this one, honestly ♥)

*2x mayonnaise (that wasn't with purpose. The server made some mistakes - I don't ever eat mayonnaise and I have still no idea what to do with even two glasses? Actually I 'ordered' some more, but this was FORTUNATELY out of sale. lol)

*hair color (won't tell the color yet, you'll see in a few days (^.^))

*sausages

*chocolate

*shirt

*bag

It's pink, I just had to add it to my cart ♥ 

♥ I already own the shirt with 'Tofu Monster' and this bag is really convenient. Furthermore it's purple - I'm a girl what did you expect? (^^)

Last but not least the shirt. ♥

I'm none of these ' we want to crusade all people on earth'- vegans, I'm not even particularly proud of being vegan to be honest. In addition I don't even know why so many people have to repeat and repeat and stress the fact that they're living vegan. It is a fact, yes. But nothing more and nothing less, neither it is a trait of character nor it is so special that you have to throw it everybody in the face the first time you meet. At least I don't see it a special trait of character. Maybe there are others who do (for whatever reason....)

Lastly the drinking game issue.

Once again a more private story (^-^)

For our economics course we have a ... well kinda peculiar lecuter to say it in a nice way. To cut it short; among other things he always uses some particular phrases and he uses them very very often, like one in each sentence he says ? Words and phrases like: quasi, so to say, you can say, etc. We counted the 'so to say' in a 90 min course once and counted about 130? lol

You get the idea, don't you?

Last week we went to a little bbq party and talked about this lecturer and  I said for fun something like: 'Oh my gosh, imagine a drinking game with him!' And my friends were like: 'Bambi how great, let's try' (I know, why we're friends xD) Actually I thought about... don't know filming a short sequenze of the lecutre and play it at home, but the guys convinced me to do it while universitiy. So we played :let's drink whenever he says 'so to say' during our last economics lecture! The guys were lucky as they could sit in the last row and.. do nothing, but Yaya and I had to sit in one of the front rows as this lecturer... 'especially likes us (not)' and this was kinda hardcore. Looking at the teacher, making notes, trying to understand what he wants from me and count this stupid phrases to drink. lol As we already knew that we would die of alcohol poisoning if each of us drinks every time, we decided to drink in a row. All in all we were 6 students and I have to admit that it was fun. At least something to do while economics (^_^)v And next time I'll chose something else to drink, this vodka-whatever-mixutre was disgusting (.-.)

But that's for now. It's 2.51 am and I'll finally go to be now ♥

Earlier this evening I tried to upload a little video of my mouse but it seems that it was too big. Or blogger was just bitchin' me ♥
Went to dm after the appointment and bought the basic stuff I need here.

It's some time ago, that I went to dm the last time and some things have changed I recognized today.

I had never seen the vegan flower on stuff like....brushes but it seems like dm changed the declaration of its products what I really appreciate! Merci beaucoup dm ♥
I do know that all the products I use in my daily life are vegan - I checked them via various internet forums where people publish their mails asking wether certain products are vegan or not -> product inquiry. Incredible for a lot of people is that all the stuff I'm putting onto my face is really vegan (^.~) It is.

The eyeshadow I bought today. Please don't ask me why I chosed this color.... maybe I should have taken... the green one or the blue one ( I already own the pink one) but now, I chosed brown. Well ,really not my day today.

Out of frustration I tried it right today. I think most of you know the basics of using eyeshadow and due to that you can imagine that the numbers are telling the order. It's MY personal order to use them, but I know from a lot of tutorials that some people taking another one.

Felt like the first time for ages that I wore lashes ♥ Since I got my new glasses I can't wear them any more but for today it was okay - I went without glasses.

Sorry for the 'eye make-up spam' recently but that's kind of the only thing I can write because I just can't snatch up for taking some pictures or at least work on my review for >>Tokyo Hostess<<. I'm sorry maybe my motivation comes  back to me tomorrow ♥

☆childish childhood dreams coming true!☆

I'm sure you all know these memories of your early childhood when you had seen something and deeply wished to get it? 

I'm dead certain I got the most childish one ever. lol

It must have been in my very early years of being  a humn being, I think I was about 6 years old, as I watched one of these american whatever comedies and saw this huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge mountain of PANCAKES with maple syrup! (^^)

At the moment I'm thinking earnestly if it's the american or the canadian people are used to eat it? Canadians I think, as I go for the maple syrup as an evidence....

Well, it doesn't matter as I decided to try it today too!

Pancakes and me got a long lasting relationship though.

In Germany there are pancakes too! And in France, too! But they're slightly different from the ones I wanted to make and I'm talking about. Germany pancakes ( I searched for a translation but I'm taking this one because I think it's the best fitting one) are bigger but thinner as these ones. In my family we were used to eat them filled with spinach & creme fraîche baked. Sounds funny? I assure you it is one of the most delicious dishes I've ever tried in my whole life - the ones in Japan count IN! ♥ 

I would die for this dish! (*_*)

My Mom knows this adiction and she often prepared the dish for me when I had a hard time ♥ Thank you Mom still love you for that! 

BUT

!!!!
As I turned vegan some years ago, this was -of course?- one of the first dishes I tried to preprae (it was one of the first dishes I tried to make at all, when I was 10 years old - the kitchen was a disaster!) and I utterly failed. I think I never failed that hard in preparing a dish than this time. lol Yes, I tried it another time too but I never succeded. My Mom knows me and she was sure I would skip my 'vegan attitude' when it comes to pancakes. No Chance. I didn't give up veganism and I haven't eaten pancakes .... till today I admit but well you got the idea, don't you?

There is this adorable new cookbook from a kind of famous germany vegan 'cook' (as far as I understood him right he's just a free time cook, none of these 'studied' fat guys): Attila Hildmann. I knew him before but I had never really cared about him, he was vegan he was well-known nothing more. To the point I stumbled over his newest cookbook and put it onto my 'Christmas Wish List' ♥ 

 

I already tried some of his recipes on my own but have to admit, that I'm none of these 'straight to the point' - cookbook people and pimped them as I was pleased x) Nevertheless they're really well thought out and quite easy to prepare even if you're not used to cook! (^_^)

Highly recommend this! ♥

I used the recipe for the 'Sweet Pancakes':

*150g flour

*300ml soy milk

*salt

*2 teaspoons baking powder

And actually he adds some bananas but I was too lazy to buy bananas and skipped it. I added some sugar instead.

I have to admit that I absolutely don't have any clue what the hell I did wrong the last times I tried pancakes but this time it just worked out fantastic! (^o^) They were so delicious and all of my facebook people were kind of jealous! ha! ( I was so proud of my little mountain that I had to post it on facebook - attention whore whuhu). 

Although my 'childhood dream' were pancakes with maple syrup I ate apple puree with them ♥
